How MyTalli handles your data — last updated April 25, 2026
Effective: April 25, 2026
MyTalli LLC ("MyTalli", "we", "us") provides a dashboard that aggregates revenue data from third-party platforms you connect. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this short and plain. If anything here is unclear, email hello@mytalli.com and we'll explain.
Who we are
MyTalli is operated by MyTalli LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Mailing address: 5423 Oakhaven Ln, Houston, TX 77091, USA. Contact: hello@mytalli.com.
What we collect
- Account info from your sign-in provider. When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and the provider's user ID. We do not store passwords — those stay with the provider.
- Connected platform data. When you connect a platform (Stripe, Etsy, Gumroad, PayPal, Shopify), we store the OAuth access and refresh tokens that platform issues, and we read your sales, fees, and payouts so we can display them. We never receive your platform password.
- Manual entries. Anything you type into Manual Entry — revenue, expenses, payouts, notes, shop names — is stored on your account.
- Billing info. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles all card data on its own PCI-compliant systems.
- Email preferences. Your opt-in/out choices for the weekly summary, subscription confirmation, and other emails.
- Server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, and error traces) for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To run the service — display your revenue, calculate goals, send the emails you've opted into.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process subscription billing through Stripe.
- To investigate errors, abuse, or security incidents.
- To comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising. We do not share your revenue or transaction data with anyone except the service providers listed below.
Who we share it with
- Microsoft Azure — hosts the application and database (Central US region) and sends our transactional emails through Azure Communication Services.
- Stripe — processes payments and stores cardholder data on its own infrastructure.
- Google, Apple, Microsoft — only during sign-in, to verify your identity.
- Connected platforms (Stripe, Etsy, Gumroad, PayPal, Shopify). Data flows from these platforms into MyTalli only — we never push your data back to them.
- Google Analytics — runs only on the public landing page (mytalli.com) for visitor counts. It is not loaded on any signed-in page.
- Legal requirements. If we receive a valid legal request (subpoena, court order), we may be required to share data. We will push back on overbroad requests and notify you when we are legally allowed to.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Azure SQL Database Transparent Data Encryption). OAuth tokens for connected platforms are stored in our database with the same encryption-at-rest protection. We use OAuth instead of passwords specifically so that compromising MyTalli does not expose your platform credentials.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we will notify you by email as required by law.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies — an authentication cookie to keep you signed in, and an antiforgery cookie to protect form submissions. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The public landing page also uses Google Analytics, which can be blocked with any standard browser extension or Do Not Track setting.
Your rights and choices
- See your data: visit Settings to review your account info, or use the in-app pages to view your revenue, expenses, and payouts.
- Correct your data: edit your name and preferences in Settings; edit Manual Entry rows on the Manual Entry page.
- Pause a connection: stop syncing for any connected platform from the Platforms page.
- Opt out of email: use the unsubscribe link in any email or change preferences in Settings.
- Cancel your subscription: manage or cancel from My Plan; access continues to the end of your billing period.
- Delete your account: email hello@mytalli.com. We will delete your data within 30 days, except records we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons (such as billing records).
If you are in California, the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with extra privacy rights (such as the right to know, the right to delete, the right to non-discrimination, or the right to data portability), you can exercise those rights by emailing us. We will respond within the timeline your law requires.
How long we keep data
- Account data: while your account is active, plus up to 30 days after a deletion request.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Billing records: up to 7 years, as required for tax and audit purposes.
Children
MyTalli is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the higher age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.
International users
MyTalli is hosted in the United States. By using the service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
Changes to this policy
We will update the "Last updated" date at the top when we change this policy. For material changes (those that meaningfully affect what we do with your data), we will notify you by email at the address on your account.
